VALUES
Responsibility and Ethical Action Drives Us
The founders of EWIA have long lasting and deep relationships with Africa and specifically Ghana through marriage, friendships, philanthropic activities and last but not least intense work-relationships.
The company logo along with the company name describes the values of the founders and thus the values of their company.
The star in the EWIA logo is one of the Adinkra symbols. These are visual symbols with historical and philosophical significance in Ghana. It is a sign of protection but also responsibility for the safety and well-being of someone and/or something.
EWIA means sun in Twi (the most widely used local language in Ghana) and stands for endless energy.
These two definitions lead us to our core value: Responsibility. Responsible action towards people, nature and society in general and particularly towards our customers, partners, employees and colleagues.
EWIAs off-grid and grid-connected solar hybrid systems convert the sun's energy into electrical energy. With affordable power and stable electricity, EWIA fosters economic growth while creating a more sustainable economy based on green energy. This impact motivates EWIA to both, respond swiftly and take a bold approach towards new challenges every single day.
The foundation of our business is honesty, partnership, authenticity and trust.
